Another good time at Bayou Airgun Club in Baton Rouge. The hot but tolerable with an occasional breeze here and there to make some of the longer shots out in the range a little more interesting.
Michael came with his dad to shoot and another couple brought another boy named Michael. It's saw awesome to see father son shoots and young ones come out.
We reconfigured the course so that there were more longer shots. I will say that I wasn't the most popular person after setting a 42 yd kneeling shot and a 44 yard standing shot :-|
We shot 9 lanes, 4 shots per lane for a total of 36 shots, with a base Troyer of 34 and adjusted Troyer of 38. Lane 2 was standing, and lane 8 was kneeling.(see pic of course layout) The increased troyer took a toll on our scores as we all shot about 2-3 shots less than our normal score.

* Michael C was shooting a FX Royale .22 on low and we scored him with the faceplate system. This guy is good
** Michael is about 8-9 years old and I set him up with my 1720T and a shoulder stock with a 12x scope. he did really good considering he didn't have sticks and doesn't understand holdovers. He got burnt out by the 6th lane, we hope to see him soon as he has promise to be a good shooter.
*** Jennifer was shooting her Marauder but didn't have her ranges setup on her sidewheel yet and was using wadcutter pellets. We checked the pellets after the shoot and saw them corkscrewing out past 40 yards. Additionally, she shot the whole course prone from her 3 position shooting days. Now that she's got the pellets sorted out and her yardages set, she's going to be dangerous!
