We had another ridiculously hot day shooting metal animals. Temps started off around 75 and worked its way up to 95 with a low breeze every minute or so. I think the humidity made it feel like 295 degrees. No, that's not a typo or exaggeration ;-)
We set out the 12 lane course, with 2 targets per lane for 48 shots and a troyer of 35.
We missed a few regulars, but had a new face Parker who is Wayne's grandson. The way Wayne looks, I thought it would be his great, great grandson, but I digress. This young man did a great job for his first outing. Wayne was showing him how to range, and holdover just 20 min before the match. We think it would be best for all of our egos if he doesn't come back.
Benny and Matt were in the race the whole way through the match, but Benny did his usual Jedi mind tricks and forced Matt to miss a few. However, Matt got back at him good by shooting a 3/8" target at 17 yards offhand just to remind him who's running the show.
